Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus Guest Reviews

Simple, convenient, and wallet-friendly, Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus is a no-fuss motel located just off Interstate 71. This laid-back stay is ideal for concert-goers looking for a clean place to crash without blowing their budget. With easy access to downtown Columbus and popular music venues, it’s a solid base for a night out in the city.
Location is key — this Super 8 puts you just a short drive away from some of Columbus's top concert spots. With 24-hour front desk service, late-night arrivals after a show are no problem. The area is quiet enough for post-show recovery, and its proximity to I-71 makes ride-shares and Uber pickups quick and easy. Plus, with a 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, there’s flexibility for travelers arriving from out of town.
While there’s no on-site restaurant, the complimentary continental breakfast (think coffee, juice, fruit, and pastries) is perfect after a late night. Several restaurants and fast food options are within five minutes' drive, making it easy to grab a bite before or after the show. Though there's no room service, coffee makers in each room help kickstart the morning.
While the hotel itself is quiet, it's just a short drive to downtown Columbus where you’ll find lively bars, lounges, and music spots to keep the night going. Nearby areas like the Short North and Arena District offer everything from craft cocktail lounges to energetic dance floors.
Guests appreciate the clean rooms, friendly staff, and free parking. Reviews often mention how convenient the hotel is for quick overnight stays and how it offers great value for the price. The location near major highways and eateries is another highlight.
Some travelers note that the property is a bit dated in terms of decor, and while functional, the rooms aren’t luxurious. You might hear a bit of hallway noise, so pack some earbuds just in case. But for the price, most guests feel it delivers exactly what they expected — a simple, clean place to sleep.
Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus is a budget-friendly, no-frills option perfect for concert-goers who want a clean, convenient place to stay after the show.

When we arrived there was a pit bull roaming the premises without a leash. The few vehicles in parking lot appeared to have people living out of them. When we arrived, two police cruisers in the parking lot. Trash everywhere around premises.
Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Premises.

With me being handicapped they were very awesome and attentive to me; put me in a room very close to the door access to my car which was great; the rooms were clean; they were quiet; everything I could ask for. I'll stay there again; thank you so much for letting me stay.

I try to stay at Super 8 motels when I travel - the service is good and rooms are clean. I just think in today's world you could be looking at a liability claim with the holes in the floor.
Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: We had a room on the second floor and there was two holes in the floor - one was about nine inches wide by sixteen inches long, the other was smaller; each about an inch and a half deep. The problem was that the big hole was located directly between the two beds at the foot end. I twisted my ankle twice in the hole. My father stayed with me in the room and is 79 years old - he could have tripped and fallen. I ended up placing the waste basket in the sunken portion to keep us from stepping in it.

We stripped the beds as soon as we got in and found bed bugs right away. Luckily we got to go to a different hotel
Disliked: Bed bugs

I can't give an accurate review because we didnt get to stay there. we had reservations there for 6 months before the show we planned on going to. We got there to check in and the had sold our room and left us high and dry at 2am. We even warned them we were going to be there late.
