Liked: Got a refund as promised, after follow up phone calls.
Disliked: Multiple bed bugs in the mattress in Room 200. Noticed one crawling on the blanket after i already showered and was watching TV.Lifted the top corner of the mattress between the box spring and wish I hadn't. Immediately took pictures/videos of them crawling and went downstairs to ask front desk to change a room. They said they were completely booked for the night so there was no other option. It being memorial day weekend every motel/campsite within a 30min drive were all booked. Front desk clerk said he could ask for a refund but would have to ask the manager tomorrow morning at 10am for approval. We ended up packing up all our stuff and slept in the car in the parking lot. Walked back in the next morning around 9am and front desk said he left notes and spoke to manager the refund should be OK. So we leave. Had to call back after our trip was over to again ask for the refund but in the end they did refund my stay so at least they did what they said.I think this motel needs better sanitation practices and more frequently check the box springs that their mattress sits on since that never gets cleaned or replaced.
