Places smell mould & wet...

Early morning fire alarm and...

Liked: Shower was good hot water.
Disliked: Broken window screens as if thieves broke in. No elevator to get to second floor. International breakfast consisted of a Little Debbie honey bun and coffee, no fruit.

Liked: TV was broken when called nobody came ro fix it. Another couple had different issues and complaints at check out.
Disliked: No repair of TV.

You get what you pay...

Liked: Would have had a better view of the water from my room if they had cleaned up the overgrown brush at the shoreline. Did enjoy my narrow view of the families of Canadian Geese swimming.
Disliked: Free breakfast consisted of coffee and commercially frozen individually wrapped mini muffins. Not worth calling it a free breakfast at all. No cereal; fruit; yogurt; toast items, eggs.... nothing. I had to go down the road and buy myself breakfast.Access drive and parking lot in need of major work!

My previous stay was better

Liked: The room was clean, and there were plenty of grassy areas to walk my dogs although many other people had walked theirs and not cleaned up after them. It was quiet, which was welcome after driving all day. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Disliked: The gentleman on the desk when I checked in was not friendly, no real greeting, monosyllabic replies, no thanks, etc. My toilet wouldn't flush unless I removed the tank lid and pulled up on the chain inside. I didn't want to call the front desk because it was late, and I didn't want my dogs to bark and wake up anyone. Finally, breakfast was very disappointing, a tiny muffin and, I believe, some coffee. Last time I stayed here, there were breakfast sandwiches and juice. This time, I was charged for my dogs whereas the last time they were free. I am okay with paying for them. I'm sure it requires additional cleaning. I know that we pay a lower price to stay here, but things like friendly staff, cleaned grassy areas, and working toilets are the basics.

Liked: Absolutely nothing. This was the Absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in. It was beyond filthy.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned before we checked in. There was an inch of dust on everything. The bathroom floor had hair on it and was filthy. The sheets had hair in them. The top blanket had white stains. The carpet had not been vacuumed. Every wall in the room had stuff spilled on them and just left. Every lamp shade was broken. It was beyond disgusting and if we weren't traveling with another family and hadn't driven together I would have left that night. I relayed all the things in the room and was given " I apologize " from the woman at the front desk. That's it. I am fully aware this is a small hotel, but for the room to be given to us this way was mortifying. I would not let my daughter walk around the room without shoes on.
