Just O.K.

Liked: The hotel is pet friendly. Our room was clean and worked out for a quick overnight stay on our road trip. It was affordable as well. The location is right off the highway and is on a main road that has just about everything a traveler might need if you continue to drive down the road.
Disliked: The hotel had some work being done so most of the parking area was off limits. They also only had two doors operational and both were by the main office. So, parking was difficult and very limited. Guests should have been pre-warned about the work (which was not actually taking place on the days were were there). At 1:30 am I received a phone call asking about my dog...color and did I know where she was. Apparently a dog was running loose in the hotel so the desk clerk was calling every room with a dog. I am not sure what else they could do other than catch the dog and keep it in the office area, but it certainly was an inconvience to be awakened.While they are pet friendly, there is no potty area other than in some weeds next to a dirt parking area that belongs to the hotel. The location was easy to get to but the area did not feel very safe. There wasn't much for breakfast that interested me. They had some packaged breakfast burritoes to heat up and a waffle maker. Muffins were hard and not appetizing to look at. Overall it was disappointing so we went to McDonalds which is two doors down from the hotel. When I checked in I asked the clerk for ideas on things to do and she was less than helpful. The information she did give me turned out to be wrong as well. When unloading my car I noticed her sitting outside in a car with a gentleman leaving the front desk area unattended. Not a good look.
