Worst experience ever

Liked: Terrible experience. I called in 1 hour before check in to let them know I would arrive after 8. Arrived that evening and after checking in they told me the elevator was out of order. Had I known I would NOT have booked my stay there. Having to move luggage up and down stairs is extremely frustrating. Next, the morning breakfast was not “good breakfast”. Or hot breakfast. It’s 1 waffle maker for all the guests. Asked about the “hot breakfast” and was told there is frozen sausage in the fridge. Turned out to be a corn dog. Very small breakfast area as well. Worst experience I’ve ever had when booking thru the “booking app”.
Disliked: Inconvenience. Horrible breakfast. Elevator out of service. We were not the only ones who were upset. Very steep driveway at the entrance.

Disliked: After we had been locked out for at least 15 minutes due to no one being at the front desk when trying to check in, we got upgraded to a "suite" which we were initially excited about, but when seeing the room it looked like any other economy room we have been staying at the precious days. In the morning we found a big dead cockroach on the floor which was disgusting, there was a coffee maker in the bathroom which seemed extremely unheigenic. So the overall experience was lackluster at best.this was our first and last visit to a super 8
