Super 8 by Wyndham Altoona

A wonderful place to stay! Clean, helpful, best front desk service I've had in a long time. Truly treated like a guest!

Liked: The staff. David at the front desk was exceptional - helped out in ways that you just don't see anymore.
Disliked: Not a thing.

I would not stay here ever..... For the price of the stay for a concert, I'm sure there are other places around, much cleaner, that would gladly book you.

Liked: The hotel staff at the front desk was amazing. It was two guys and the one was training the other one. They were so helpful and present. That was the best check in.
Disliked: The place was dirty. The tub would not drain. There were bugs in the bathroom. There were Doritos on the floor under the bed, and not from us. And then in the middle of the night there were bugs crawling on the floor. When I went to the lobby to get coffee in the morning it was empty and when I asked for it the desk clerk was annoyed. And when she was filling it one of the other workers came out and said they were out of oj. We didn't stay any longer.

Liked: Remote didn’t work, room stinks, also a hole in the tub that was patched with hard material and still had a hole. Wouldn’t recommend

Pleasant

Liked: A good breakfast and pleasant check-in.
Disliked: There were a LOT of black fuzzies like from socks? on the bottom of my sheets like where feet would have been which makes me question whether the sheets were even washed? Very Loud at night around 11-12 with people talking in hallway and early morning. Back door not even locked, could get in without the key card.

Liked: Everything was good, area was great, just the people next to us , kept going in and out there door for 2 hours, slamming it, otherwise it's a very nice place

Disliked: Just a muffin for breakfast.

Liked: Location and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: As soon as I pulled up I saw their sign said weekly rates. The hotel has not been updated in decades and cleanliness was ok. Picture in the booking site was not what the hotel looked like in person.

Liked: Everything thing was great.. They've decided to stop serving their breakfast. Was waffles cereal muffins yogurt milk orange juice etc.. Was an exceptional value. To a brown bag 1 muffin and orange juice.... Other than that property was great laundry room fitness room. Convient and nice location.

Liked: Great place! Rooms were nice, comfortable bed, and great staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Less than desirable.

Liked: Staff was unprepared, and playing around cutting up not being acceptable in the least. Language was less than acceptable. Took too long on the checkin process, seriously lacking.
