I was a bit wary after reading the reviews. The front desk staff was very friendly. I had driven for 5 hrs to make it to the venue that started at 2:30. Check in wasn't officially until 3 but she allowed me to go get ready when the room wasn't ready. My fiance smokes and there were smoking rooms available which is hard to find these days. The mattress was a bit springy but not uncomfortable to the point you couldn't rest. The best part was no bugs! The horrible reviews I don't understand at all; the pool was fine; the hottub was hot. If you're expecting a 5 star experience go to a 5 star hotel! I didn't eat but they had a waffle maker and batter dispenser, cereal coffee and juice. I did have some OJ and it was just fine. I'd stay again.

Sometimes a good deal isn't...

Liked: The rooms were clean. The hotel was quiet and it was close for us to get around to other things we wanted to do.
Disliked: They didn't give us enough towels per guest. We had to have staff members let us into the pool area during operational hours. The first night the pool was very cold. The beds only had one pillow each and they were very worn and the beds were very firm. The hotel could use and updating.the continental breakfast was a little lean compared to other similar hotels I've stayed at.

Liked: The staff were so friendly!
Disliked: The hotel was so dirty, the floors made our feet and socks black! Cigarette burns all over the blankets and comforter and even all on the tub. The curtain was so old, stained and dry rotted the sun came through all the cracks. They didn’t even turn on the AC in the hall ways so it was so hot! Shower curtain rod was barely bolted in and the provided towels were so dingy we didn’t even use them. The workers were so friendly but the hotel was just nasty!!!

Disliked: When I arrived there was no sign to show where the office was . The Booking site didn't tell me there was a 50 dollar deposit. The tv signal was not good.

Liked: Nothing good to say, horrible experience. Would never stay there again.
Disliked: Cigarette burns in every blanket & sheets. Staff didn't not care. I was told to stop complaining. I was in a non-smoking room & it smelled so bad of cigarettes & dog. Staff was extremely rude. Made the whole stay very uncomfortable.
