Disliked: Chipping paint on doors and walls, holes in bathroom door, baseboards torn out, no screen on bathroom window, hairdryer broken, no coat hangers

Very dingy and run down...

Disliked: Very confusing motel. The outside has been remodeled to look like a charming Santa Barbara motel, but when you open the door to the room it feels unkept and broken down. Broken old furniture was confusing and gross - the bedspread hadn't been washed ever I don't think. The bath towels were ratty rags I'd wipe my car with. You can tell they tried to upgrade here and there with a newer big TV and the shower had been updated but the toilet was dirty and had a cracked seat. I felt dirty the whole time. No lock from the inside of the door which felt unsafe for a motel, even in SB. There was a huge black spider in the room. You can hear every noise outside and in the room next door. One of the cheapest options in SB for a reason - I feel bad for people that have to stay here, I was so happy to get home and shower.

Liked: The air conditioner did not work in my room. I kept the window open to keep the temperature down.

Uncaring “with a smile”, dirty...

Liked: Originally I was so grateful. There was a mess up in the reservation. And when I showed up we only had a queen bed for 3 of us. The woman at sunset called the sister property “Town and Country” and quickly gor us a king bed which was more than adequate. That's when things went south
Disliked: The front desk guy showed me a nice roomand when he saw that I had a medical service dog, he put me and kids in another property next door that was dirty and unjept and a little sketchy. I was just grateful to have a room at that point.First problem is there wasn't enough parking for the rooms and he curtly told me to park on the street- I don't think so.The 2nd day we were there the cleaners didn't clean but it wasn't much dirtier than the first night, so no complaint.BUT when I can back the 3rd day to an unclean room AGAIN, I was disgusted.I went to the front desk and he told me if I wanted a clean room and new towels and sheets, I HAD TO FO IT NYSELF! He put towels, sheets, a bucket with cleaners and a broom and sent me in my way back to our room.I could barely carry it all and he didn't even offer to help me carry it over. This was a )300 a night room. Don't GO!! The picture of the towels is how dirty our floor was. He didn't give me a mop (like I asked) so I used the towels.

Disliked: The rooms it’s a very During, smile so Bad the Sink and the Shower too everting , we can’t sleeping, the motel needs remodeling too old and very expensive….
