4 star Hotel with a...
Liked: One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The location is great, because it's close to all the attractions, the neighbourhood is safe, it's a legendary hotel with a lot of musical history, it has all the amenities you could ask for (pools, gym, bars, restaurant etc.) and the staff is outstanding. We got a free upgrade of our room, only because we were staying more than a week. The room was quiet and spacious with a separate living area, a balcony and the bathroom was big enough for two for a longer stay. We had a little accident on the 2nd day of our stay and my partner was unable to walk but the staff were so helpful and courteous! We received crutches & a wheelchair for the entire rest of our stay, the crew helped us to find medical assistance and we were asked all the time, if we needed any help. It felt like home away from home. Thanks to the staff of the Sunset Marquis, we were still able to enjoy our vacation and we'll stay here again, the next time we travel to Los Angeles.

My favorite hotel in LA
Liked: The location makes it right in the middle of everything. I love the outdoor areas. Beds are very comfortable.
Disliked: Only one complaint. One area which REALLY needs improvement is the lighting in the bedroom area. There are no bedside lamps offering softer late night illumination. Instead there are only bright white recessed ceiling lights above each of the 2 sides of the bed. These beam down a bit too harshly which can be unpleasant for the person who wants to go to sleep when another wishes to stay up and read. Also the light switches to these are reversed: the switch on the left turns the light on over the right side of the bed and visa versa. I’ve stayed in the hotel several times and this is consistent in each of the rooms I’ve been in.

Amazing hotel with a lot...
Liked: The space of our room class was very big, and the quality of the gym and the restaurant/food was amazing.

Very good
Liked: There is a good restaurant/bar where you can have tasty breakfast or dinner and after have some drink in bar close by lobby. Staff is helpful and nice. There is very nice garden in hotel where you can have a quick walk. This makes unique atmosphere, especially where you are in the city.
Disliked: Room was clean and comfortable (1 bedroom suite). Nevertheless, room needs some renovation and refreshment.
