Bad experience

Liked: The staff member was so rude , he wanted me to pay a deposit for a room with no TV, no fridge and no heater When I told him that I was check with bookings .com , he kicked me out of the premises. I didn't got refund .

I wouldn't stay here again,...

Liked: I liked how cheap it was, it was definitely the bare bones of what I needed. I had a private room with a shared bathroom. I appreciate that there are private rooms, my stuff was safe.
Disliked: There's a threshold where the city goes from comfortable walkable, lively and relatively clean to smelly, full of homeless, and the street is an outside toilet. 6th street is that threshold street. The location is pretty terrible. The facilities itself I expected to be the safe haven, but not quite. It's pretty dingy. The main facility is a hostel, but it's not clean.

Good value, safe and quiet...

Liked: Love the front desk guys. Very friendly and professional. They deal with a lot on that street. But I've seen they have many return guests including myself. Good guys!

Liked: Noisy. Graffiti on the interior door and walls including a SS sign on the window sill. How does Booking.com approve of this substandard lodging. Also, the bedspread had over 20 burn holes on it. Apparently it is a smoking room. No fitted sheet, just a sheet as the bottom sheet. I had to ask for a second sheet to protect from the itchy, burned comforter.
