Liked: The location is private but central to all things in town. Well withing walking distance. The property is clean and quiet. It is what you expect a cottage you be. Alex is a very friendly and most gracious host. We were upgraded to what I believe to be the best location at the resort. This is our second time here and we will be sure to come again. I think Lower Buckhorn is the jewel of the Kawarthas and there is no better place to enjoy it than at sunrise resort.
Disliked: I do not have a bad thing to say about the property, the location, or the host. This was exactly what we were looking for in a long weekend getaway.

Liked: The cottage was ideal for one person or a couple. It is a few steps from the lake and has a small patio area with a bbq and table to enjoy the view.
Disliked: They are so close to the highway that there is a lot of traffic, which can be quite loud when transport trucks or large equipment passes.

Liked: Gorgeous waterfront cabin in very clean well stocked condition with patio and dock and BBQ. Children's swings, firepirepit, horseshoes, and much more.
