Excellent stay

Liked: Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely comfy and spacious room.
Disliked: External door to room in new external extension building was left by customers to bang shut. Perhaps signage on r a slow closer would rectify this?

Great location, Definitely value for...

Liked: Great location, clean and good value. Friendly staff and fantastic breakfast.Starting to show some signs of tiredness and in need of a facelift in the room I was staying in. Building work on a section of the accommodation block was ongoing during my visit, with no impact whatsoever on me.

Liked: The hotel is located close to the railway station and is a short walk from the town centre.The room was very clean and comfortable and there was no intrusive noise. The bed was very comfyThe hotel is a popular eating place and that is not surprising given the quality and range of food on offer, including a good choice of vegetarian dihes. The service is quick and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.All the public areas are well maintained and the whole hotel has an air of freshness.
Disliked: The en-suite toilet and shower were rather cramped, whilst the washbasin was in the bedroom.

Quite simply the best !

Liked: i liked the warmth and attentativeness from Jonathan upon my arrival ; the comfort and the amenity of my bedroom ; and both the service and the food and drink at the bar and in the restaurant - and kippers and poached eggs to die for . `Absolutely first class !
Disliked: Nothing ...
