Sunley Hotel

Nice hotel in lovely quiet...

Liked: Leon on the front desk was friendly, helpful, polite and accommodating Reasonably priced bar in the hotel open until 9pm Iron/ironing board in the room Lots of free parking in a car park close by available Campus surroundings are very pretty, clean and felt very safe Not a 24 hour reception only until 9pm however given a phone number for security for 24 hour contact who I saw patrolling frequently so I felt safe in the knowledge if I needed to call someone they were there although I never did Spacious, bright and nicely decorated room Clean Great Wi-Fi Nice views from the room Mostly quiet especially as I stayed in the summer holidays so most students weren't on campus2pm check in is earlier than usual which is good The rooms have a/c which is important to me in order to keep the room cool and get a good nights sleep in the summer months Tea/coffee facilities in the room with biscuits which is a nice touchBottles of water in the room on arrival
Disliked: No fridge in the room or buckets of ice available A few cobwebs that have been missed with the cleaning Some noise from other rooms so the soundproofing isn't the best Check out at 10am is too early Small shower cubicle which meant it wasn't the easiest shower to enjoy

Disliked: Could have done with some USB sockets and the shower and sink drainage was a little slow No option of a family room which would have been beneficial as need 2 separate rooms

Disliked: The shower drain. The water wont go down the drain fast.
