Liked: Whilst the room was small, the owners had done their best to make it a good base for our holiday. We enjoyed a good vegetarian English cooked breakfast each day. Dinner was not available during our stay.
Disliked: Nothing

Superb

Passable, cheap but won’t rush...

Liked: Location. Access to town centres via a path near the hotel across the rail bridge. Nice walk. Quiet. Comfortable bed. Decent wifi. Easy meeting point for other hill walkers headed north.
Disliked: No kettle in the room. Breakfast not available until 08:15. Not much local information on offer. Nearest shop about a 20 minute walk.

Liked: Room is big, comfy and clean. Breakfast has many options to be chosen. Staffs are helpful and kind.

Lovely traditional hotel

Liked: Lovely traditional hotel, very clean, warm room & comfortable bed. Tea/coffee facility in room. Lounge area with a bar open til 10.30pm. Good choice on offer for breakfast. Staff friendly & attentive. Only a 10/15 minute walk over the bridge into town
