Exceptional

Liked: The hotel is located in beautiful surrounding and you can walk out from the room to the river. The room was very nice. The stuff friendly. They also have a mini golf.

Spent one night while on...

Liked: Great location. Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I would prefer a few more choices for breakfast. Having the Cabot cheese was a nice touch.

Would NOT recommend the condo

Liked: The main resort area seemed to have some good amenities, but we didn’t stay near there, so were never able to use them.
Disliked: We stayed in one of the 3-Bdrm condo units, which we didn’t realize is located down the road in a completely different area, so we weren’t near any of the resort’s amenities. The A/C in the condo was very disappointing. There is only one window unit in the living room and in order to get cool air to the bedrooms, we had to place fans in the hallways and leave our bedroom doors open. The condo itself was old and in need of many upgrades, the bedrooms are tiny and very dark, the whole front half of the condo was very dark. Kitchen had a coffee pot, with 2 packs of coffee and no cream/sugar. Carpeting is extremely worn and wrinkled in many areas.

The people who work here...

Liked: Location is excellent with a lot to do within walking distance.
Disliked: Construction started earlier than 8am but the front desk was very kind and tried to talk to them.

Sun and ski inn was...

Liked: Sun and ski inn was quite literally the best inn I have ever stayed at! The receptionist was extremely warm and helpful, and the property was also beautiful. They had a mini golf course right outside, which was incredible as well! There was also a campfire (as well as cookies and other amenities at the front desk). The rooms were also two stories tall, and each can house up to 10 (maybe 11 if you squeeze in the couch) people. The bathroom and kitchen area was also super clean. Even though we only stayed there for one night, I would give the inn more than 5 stars if I could!

The staff and owner were...

Liked: There was an issue with our booking when we checked in and the manager on duty promptly resolved the issue and was able to make sure we had an upgraded room for our stay.

Outside fun for sure! Bowling...

Liked: Love that it has bowling and putt-putt golf on site. There is a lovely creek you can relax at as well as a fire pit with chairs. I know they are building new rooms and I hope that will bring some life to it.
Disliked: I stayed in #1 cottage. I was told they were updated 9 yrs ago. The room had a smell to it either musky or urine, not sure. The chair had stains all over them, not sure when they were shampooed last. Dog poop right outside my patio despite bags available steps away. Room was very cold upon arrival I had to turn the heat on and it took several hours to get to a temperature I was comfortable at.
