Fabulous stay at a great...

Liked: Spacious rooms, great location, Staff were excellent

Fantastic day and a great...

Liked: This is a beautiful property! It’s located right on the lake in a very quiet and picturesque location. We planned our visit for early June (before high season), and had the pool and amenities to ourselves most days. Our room was comfortable and well appointed and the Shaughnessy Cove restaurant on site is fantastic!
Disliked: The only negative that I can think of is that our room was a bit warm. We were there over some very hot days and it would be nice to turn down the air conditioning in the room. I believe it is pre-programmed from the front desk, so could not go below 20°C.

Disappointing experience

Liked: Great location on the lake and nice pool
Disliked: Hotel and facilities were nice; however there were one (or a few) large groups of people who were loud and dominated the pool space. Noticeably other guests (including ourselves) moved to the far end of the pool as they had their speakers going and were doing shots, swearing etc. I like seeing people have a good time but this carried on all day and all night each night of our stay and got pretty old. In fact it kept my partner from wanting to go to the pool at all. Even sitting on our deck we had to listen to them as they took up a big footprint (bother physically and audibly). I'd highly recommend banning personal speakers at the pool. I love music but not everybody likes the same thing and nothing worse than listening to someone else's loud bad music while your trying to relax. Also the group(s) left beer cans and booze and plates around the pool which we got to look down on from our balcony. Music and noise carried on well past 11 pm. Anyways, we're not sticks in the mud, but it definitely took away from our enjoyment of the space and the weekend.This activity didn't seem to be noticed or managed by hotel staff at all. Disappointing.
