Rural chic but not up...

Liked: The location was great for our needs.
Disliked: The room was dusty. The breakfast didn’t look like the promo, no croissants and no milk for the cereal. We are ok with dogs but if you weren’t then the dawn barking would have been annoying. No wi fi or phone reception which might be ok for the country but worth knowing.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Serene and replenishing

Liked: We were provided with breakfast things and snacks, so that we didn't need to go to the shops. The property was beautiful with lots of greenery, farmland, horses and alpacas.
Disliked: It was a beautiful property and stay.

Run down, Dirty & Tired...

Disliked: Very over priced for the room & facilities. Should have been half the advertised price.Room was very dusty & many cobwebs.Very run down and tired looking. Verandah, while comfortable looking appeared unsafe, was covered in leaves and had not been cleaned (dirty seats & tables) for a very long time. All internal furniture was old and dusty. Quaint antiques but very run down - no up keep and dust traps.Bed was sagging on one side and creaked whenever you moved.Road from unsealed main road into the property very rough and barely suitable for 2WD vehicle - wouldn’t want to drive on it in wet conditions.CANNOT RECOMMEND

A peaceful quiet location with...

Liked: The breakfast was generous and fresh. We loved the Edwardian ambience. There were many thoughtful extras provided.

Passable

Liked: Breakfast, orange juice, fruit and fresh bread was nice.
Disliked: Website photos would seem to be from a long time ago & not a good presentation of current state of the homestead.

We’ll be back

Liked: The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location was simply stunning! And the hosts were delightful.
Disliked: The bed squeaked a bit but we still sleep well.

We wouldn’t stay here again

Liked: Not much. It was like visiting Granny’s place unfortunately. It was clean and comfortable though.
Disliked: It was old and needed maintenance and an update!

Awesome location and friendly host.

Liked: The room and breakfast area were beautifully set up, I wish we had the time to stay and enjoy the property a bit more! It was in the perfect location for us, as we had a wedding in Main Ridge. The property was quiet. Although it was a warm night, we were both kept cool with just the window slightly open. There was an air con available, but we didn't feel the need to use it. Beverly was able to accommodate an earlier check in for us which was really helpful and greeted us at the door.
