Good

Liked: I enjoyed the staff at Arthur's. I discovered the Brasserie on the last night. That was amazing. The guys who serve the breakfast need gold medals! Everyone of them!I don't really do breakfast. I just need coffee. They where helpful, even though they where rushing about trying to feed people who weren't going to finish their food. The room was good.Personally, I would have preferred my own bathroom.I'm not great at sharing bathrooms and for good reason...seems no one gets taught bathroom etiquette these days. The bathrooms where always in a mess and dirty.I didn't have to much of a problem with transport but their really isn't anything to do in the area. There was one person who really stood out for me. I think her name was Evalina (I wish I could remember) in the time I waited for her to finish with the ladies before me, I was so amazed at her passion. When she attended to me, someone else walked in and gave a gift for being helpful. She spent at least 20 minutes assisting me and that lead me on a completely different, but the most enjoyable path! She wasn't around again for me to thank her and give her feedback, but I wanted to give her an update about The Roslin Chapel. You have to pay now, but it's all for good, maintaining and looking after the Chapel and the surroundings. It was everything and more than what she told me. Thanks, my stay was very pleasant. Regards Nealia Berger
Disliked: I don't like how there isn't a system to give a tip, to any of the staff, especially when they've done their best. The staff at Arthur's where amazing.

Very good except for the...

Disliked: I visit every August to perform at the Fringe and the restaurant at breakfast time is no longer fit for purpose;as a partially disabled person, it has now become close to impossible to queue for a hot drink; you clearly need more hot drinks machines.

Great value, amazing breakfast

Liked: Great value, unbelievable breakfasts, get up early and eat all you can. Once you work out how to get to town and back very easy bus into town, 30, 33, 14 between South Bridge and Commonwealth Pool stops. Most very quiet. Would stay again for sure.
Disliked: Only thing on last night was that the two girls were so noisy in room above so you can be unlucky with your neighbours.
