Excellent and comfortable stay!

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable, and very close to the bathroom. I appreciated having a sink in the room. The breakfast was included and excellent. Wide selection of food and beverages.
Disliked: It was a little loud at night because there were a lot of student groups wandering around until late, but I closed the window and it was ok.

Okay stay, could be better

Liked: Very clean and specious room, good amenities like wardrobe, cabinets etc. Best variety of breakfast in Europe I have seen so far.
Disliked: Location: a little far from the city so need to take a bus which is okay or longer trips but little time consuming when you are on a shorter trip. Facility: breakfast timing should be earlier than 7:30 am or there should be an option to have a packed breakfast box. One day we had to leave at 7:30 am for one of the group tour which is a norm in Edinburgh for most of the day trips. As we already paid a hefty room price, we expect better facilities, else it is a waste of money to get breakfast from outside again.

Very expensive for what it...

Liked: Location. Also everything was clean and tidy
Disliked: Very very expensive for what it was. However, it’s Edinburgh during the festival and you are being ripped off wherever you go.

Disliked: No toilet paper for at least a day even though it was mentioned twice to staff. Had to go to front desk for some.

Great value stay

Liked: Great price and comfortable rooms. Great to get breakfast included which was a massive highlight.
Disliked: Staff could really do with explaining room locations better (I really struggled to find my room). Also felt they could do with moving queues quicker - seemed to be a lot of staff milling around in the background who could have been serving residents but instead we were left to wait.
