Horrible, horrible, horrible staff. Idk...
Liked: Property was nice but staff was horrible, Hotel was reserved ahead of time and we had also talked to someone about early check in since we were coming from out of town. Once we get there to try and check in early this Hispanic girl tells us to leave and to try and call back to see if she can get a room for early check in. Obiously I wasn’t able to cancel because they didn’t allow it. We left and did what she said to do. After 2 hours we call her back like she told us to do. She got upset and told us to find something to do till 3pm (check in) like everyone else. I made sure to communicate with this hotel weeks, days ahead of time to make sure everything ran smoothly and it did not. Our whole first day was practically ruined. Also it’s been a week and our “refundable” deposit hasn’t come back and probably isn’t.

Disliked: Person in charge could not find my reservation on arrival. Exhibited a bad and intimidatingvattitude. Smart/swipe card often did not work. Passport was stolen.

Horrible manager and uncompromising staff

Disliked: The staff were incredibly rude. The manager had a horrible attitude. We were traveling for a track meet with my 16 year old daughter and had 14 foot pole vault poles with us and as we were flying out early in the morning had already dropped off the rental vehicle. We were told by the manager that we couldn't put them anywhere public may be, anywhere staff may be. When asked if they had a storage room or anywhere that we could store them for the 10 hours that we were there, we were told absolutely not. They were unwilling to work with us to find a solution or compromise. I was told that if we left them on the property, the staff would remove them from the premises. Any time I'd make a suggestion, I was told absolutely not, no willingness to work with us. We eventually had no choice but to leave the hotel, walk, while carrying 14 ft poles through the streets of LA in the dark to find another hotel, only to end up taking a shuttle to the airport and sleeping there overnight before our flight. We have traveled many many times with the poles and never encountered such rude uncompromising people. I offered to pay for a second room so we could get a ground level so we could put them through a windows or somehow access from the exterior. She just said no. The staff break room had an exterior door and lots of space however we were told "absolutely no way" could we put them there. We were left stranded in LA with no where to stay because of their unwillingness to try and cone up with a solution. I will never ever stay at another accommodation with this chain again. Highly don't recommend. I'm not sure how, with hotels and accommodations like this, LA is going to accommodate the Olympics in a few years.

Liked: The only positive was the attitude and professionalism if the front desk lady that processed my registration
Disliked: I was charged over $75 extra that cannot be explained. When I checked in I was told my rate, including parking and taxes, was $120.00. My card was charged $195.88. I realize Los Angeles is going through tough times economically, but getting cheated in this manner is improper and unethical. I did not get a receipt when I checked out, so it has been impossible to get the overcharge corrected. Needless to say, I will never be staying at this hotel chain again!
