Liked: Breakfast is good, my favorite meal of the day. I like the egg “patty” and sausage patty, fruit, milk and toaster waffle with real butter. My husband likes the biscuits and gravy with sausage.The location is good, fairly quiet, near our daughter’s place. We came for our grandson’s high school graduation. The AC unit is a better quality than many places as it cycled on and off. It was a steady temperature and fairly quiet. This makes for a pleasant stay.The staff are the best. They are helpful and really listen.My husband has had medical procedures done and the staff are caring and helpful. They gave us a room that has a recliner, which is very helpful for him to sleep.We have stayed several times at the Sugarloaf motel and are satisfied with our stays. This is the first time to have bugs on the bathroom floor. The towels were nice though.
Disliked: There were dead bugs in the bathroom, nothing scary, just the little bugs we used to call Rollie pollies. They curl up in a ball if you bother them. I don’t know where they came in but the next morning there was a single live one. There were probably 10 or 12 dead bugs on the bathroom floor. But the carpet in the room was nice and the bed and bedding nice too. The refrigerator worked well.

Solid value at under $100

Liked: I only stayed for one night and didn't use the pool or have breakfast. My room was basic but included a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. It's a value hotel at under $100 but I wouldn't pay more than that. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Disliked: The main wall in the bathroom had lots of black smudges, like dirty hand prints and it could use a new coat of paint.

Liked: Convenient , clean, quiet with comfortable beds, small pool, but clean and great for a quick swim, has doggy area
Disliked: No checking in before 4 pm, but staff was very friendly and helpful during check in

Bad

Liked: When I checked in themam was very nice. Even though they didn't a pet friendly room available . He said that because my dog was a service dog that it would be fine.
Disliked: When we che ked out, the rude woman said I did not declare that I had a dog and charged me an extra 50. When I explained what happened, she acted like I was not being honest. Then, I just walked away. Will never stay there again

Good Value Hotel in Bend

Disliked: Had a problem getting into my room so they had to move me to another room after remaking keys.
