Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent. The staff and amenities were great.
Disliked: Some of the fixtures were old and the room could have been cleaner.

Lovely area and we enjoyed...

Liked: The location was nice. We were the only people staying in the hotel that night. The gal that checked us in was very nice and carried my suitcase up the stairs for me. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the view was lovely of the trees.
Disliked: They were modernizing a rather tired building and had not finished the molding around the flooring in our room. The lack of an elevator was a downer.

Superb

Liked: It was a great location in carrabassett valley close to Stratton Eustis and Kingfield.
Disliked: The bed was a little too firm for our preference.

Liked: I loved the views!! The grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. The room was a great size.I enjoyed the room with games and tv. I really appreciated the outside patio.
Disliked: I was VERY DISSAPOINTED NO ELEVATOR. I was disappointed no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The window was broken and did not open. The other window worked fine. The air conditioner worked fine. I did not feel comfortable leaving food in the community refrigerator. I was disappointed NO pool or hot tub on site. The fitness center was close by but had to pay additional fees for the day.

Horrible

Liked: The views and the mattress and air conditioner
Disliked: We made a reservation and were the only guests in the hotel and they put us on the very top floor, the hallways and staircases(there is NO ELEVATOR) were sweltering. The bathroom, well forget it the bathroom is so small you cannot get dressed in it which is a negative especially if u need privacy changing. This was the worst experience I've ever experienced at any hotel and we definitely will NOT be staying there again and would NOT recommend to anyone.

Disliked: the room was too hot even after opening the windows (3rd floor room 307). We did ski the last weekend of the season so this is understandable.....
