Sugar Beach Resort Hotel

Great place but a little...

Liked: Friendly staff and great view.
Disliked: Breakfast came in a box and not many choices.

Excellent, would recommend.

Liked: Great beach and access to water. Liked the breakfast options which were delivered to the room on time.

Fun weekend.

Liked: Location was excellent for our needs.
Disliked: A bit on the expensive side. No restaurant on site.

Liked: Room was clean
Disliked: People in room above us were stomping around until 11 pm at night. There was a water leak above our head while sitting at the table outside our room. There were too many chairs on the beach, I stopped counting at 150, was too crowded, too many chairs

This place is a gem...

Liked: We loved the well manicured beach with the most BEAUTIFUL view, plenty of seating for all, easy access to water rentals and even a huge bin of sand toys for the kids! Great pool and hot tub, fun little game room, and our room itself was clean, cozy, spacious and exactly what we needed for our stay!
Disliked: We loved the breakfast delivery service compared to going to a continental breakfast (especially with kids), but would have liked just a few more warm breakfast options.

Liked: The location was nice and the staff was helpful
Disliked: We found dried blood on or sheets. They replaced them right away but couldn’t compensate my in any other way because I booked through you guys. We did call you and complain but heard nothing back

Pleasant

Liked: The beach was well cleaned & groomed every morning.
Disliked: You have to ask for room service to have sheets changed and fresh towels everyday; I called & asked with no change of sheets our entire stay & had to put our trash & dirty towels in the hallway to be picked up. They seem very understaffed & accommodations have gone down hill. The shower wouldn’t drain & the bathroom door knob was falling off. We miss the complimentary breakfast buffet…the packaged breakfasts were not enjoyable or fresh. We truly miss our experience at this hotel we shared 5 years ago!

Great Stay at Sugar Beach...

Liked: The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Our son said he slept great on the sofa bed. Great location on the beach. Although our room overlooked the parking lot, it was peaceful, did not hear a lot of noise at all. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious. Anything we needed the front desk was right on it.
Disliked: The only thing I was not accustomed to was the breakfast delivery, but I must say they had some healthy options, which was good.
