Disliked: extra fees that wasn’t stated, bathroom door opened onto the toilet and sink which was a stupid design, the bathroom floor was all stained, the windows weren’t ventilated, the curtains didn’t meet in the middle, it smelt like sick and the list goes on..

Should be better.

Liked: Great location
Disliked: You- booking.com- never advised clearly enough that we had to ring up re taking a dog . They made us change rooms and tried to charge £20 for our dog!!We had paid extra for a garden room that we were removed from. No refund was made!!!!The breakfast was lukewarm, cold fried eggs and leathery bacon.

Passable

Liked: The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from the village centre.
Disliked: Paid for a double bed, had two singles, the hotel was noisy, banging doors which was horrendous. A poor night's sleep.

Liked: Room was very nice, staff very polite and friendly…
Disliked: There was an issue with the door lock of the room!! Room door didn’t turn the lock, so we had to put an ironing board behind the door!

A good overall experience, but...

Liked: Breakfast was great, and the facilities were good.
Disliked: The room was not fully cleaned after the last guest, and there were some marks on the carpet and sheets. We booked a big room because I needed to work, but the desk was very small- barely big enough for a laptop.

Lovely stay for one night...

Liked: Pretty building, great breakfast! Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Disliked: The shower was really weak and not powerful. Felt like the staff were rushing us by clearing away our plates before we had finished at breakfast.
