Motel not Hotel

Liked: Loads of parking. Clean.Breakfast good.Friendly staff.
Disliked: It's a motel rather than a hotel. Outside needs a good paint and some repair work. Room was very cold, unable to get radiator working as per the instructions provided. We were moved to another room, still the radiator didn't work, however an electric heater was in this room. Kitchen closed at 5.45 as it was a Sunday; told this as we arrived at 5.15, too early for us to eat so had to make alternative arrangements and there is nothing in walking distance. Sadly, Sturdys Castle does not reflect the online photos.

I would probably stay again...

Liked: Quiet, clean, great food and friendly staff.
Disliked: The room was a sweat box with one window that barely opened and no fan. I had a miserable night.

Liked: Breakfast was great and location was ideal.
Disliked: Wouldn’t rate bedroom as 4 stars. Bed very soft, pillows too flat. Shower grouting black in places.

Still a good spot

Liked: Helpful host, easy to come and go, easy parking, good size room, separate building from the pub, good price, nice to have some little biscuits ;-) Returned after visiting previously.
Disliked: No power sockets near the bed, otherwise all good.
