I appreciate bargains. Although the cost was expensive it was the least expensive in the area due to the location. We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. We have stayed in far worse. Although it wasn't glamorous it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had a microwave and fridge. We even had a nice view of the river. It was about a mile walk to the subway and a short cab drive to the Paradise Rock Club. The area has nice restaurants.

Liked: The rooms are great size and all new !The terrace area in the lobby is a great place to hang. I loved that the breakfast was included.Location is ok considering Boston downtown prices were rocket sky. Kids can paint a drawing at the lobby . This was a magic touch.

Disliked: Did not like the confusing long walk to our 3rd floor room. The elevator setup is not the best and scary sometimes.AC was loud in the room because it goes off and on.

Liked: Excellent location just next to Charles river. Easy to cross the road and have a run or relax next to the river. Very easy access with car. Perfect location if you want to visit Harvard, just 10ish minute drive with uber or car.
Disliked: Little hit tricky to get from reception to 3rd floor some rooms.... better to take second entrance...not conveniate when it is raining
