I appreciate bargains. Although the cost was expensive it was the least expensive in the area due to the location. We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. We have stayed in far worse. Although it wasn't glamorous it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had a microwave and fridge. We even had a nice view of the river. It was about a mile walk to the subway and a short cab drive to the Paradise Rock Club. The area has nice restaurants.

Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean and modern. Mix of ages playing pool and ping pong in the lobby. Being able to walk along the river across the street was a plus. Free parking is huge in Boston.
Disliked: It's anywhere from a $7 off peak to a $20 peak one way (Sat night) uber to/from the city, about 15 minutes away, but very close to Cambridge shopping.

Disliked: Only having disposable plates, cups and cutlery for breakfast was really annoying. So much waste. Breakfast itself wasn’t great either - functional food only and chaotic.

Liked: Large size room, well equiped, clean. Comfortable bed. Good, safe location. HBS nearby. Parks, river. Free entry to nearby large fitness club.
Disliked: Nearest tube station quite far. I got poor view from window. Breakfast was basic. Ok if stay 1-2 nights.
