I appreciate bargains. Although the cost was expensive it was the least expensive in the area due to the location. We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. We have stayed in far worse. Although it wasn't glamorous it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had a microwave and fridge. We even had a nice view of the river. It was about a mile walk to the subway and a short cab drive to the Paradise Rock Club. The area has nice restaurants.

Liked: This is such a unique and lovely space! The food available is FANTASTIC. The staff was incredibly friendly and they keep the front desk open 24 hours a day. The room was spacious and clean. The outdoor space and lobby were great as well!
Disliked: The hotel is not super walkable to many things or a subway line, but ubers are always near by! I would stay here again!

Liked: Easiest to describe as a hipster sorta place, or to accommodate younger travelers. QR code to order food and drinks. The staff was knowledgeable. Booked because it was cheap compared to most hotels in the area.
Disliked: When I reported that the heat wasnt working in my room, they told me engineering turned it off for the season due to warm days- the high that day was 46. Hearing was loud and vent was very dirty. Hallways are narrow and place gives a 70s vibe

Nice hotel, not for light...

Liked: Good restaurant and pub available all day is convenient. The staff was very kind in addressing all my questions and always found a solution for issues that arose over my 4 night stay.
Disliked: Rooms are very noisy and not well isolated from outside. Corridors are narrow and therefore noisy as well since doors tend to shut even when handled with care. Windows are not sealed. Furniture is old and sometimes dirty (e.g. couches fabric). Do not select if you have a light sleep.
