Disappointing

Liked: The room was clean and quiet. The staff was pleasant and accommodating . The desk clerk gave us bottled water upon arrival.
Disliked: The hotel is physically attached to 2 other hotel/motels. There were quite a few people just loitering on stairways and in the parking lot of the motel.Each Studio 6 room had a kitchen, but no coffee pot. There was no lobby or any kind of vending machine. We went around to the lobby of the attached hotel to pick up tourist information pamphlets.

Liked: We just had a nap after the eclipse , then we went to a very nice restauranvives. The hotel, Riks boatyard, and then we went driving back home in chicago. I wanted to stay but the hotel didnt have good vibes and no clean.
Disliked: The moment you enter the hotel smells so bad , the room smelled like some aroma trying to hide the real bad smell, blanket were old, pillows smelled like old swet, night tables had food stained, ,washroom had yellow stains. The little kitchen looked good but we didnt use it. We decided to go and lose our money, instead of sleeping there. This hotel is only if you dont have other option.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: My boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate an early birthday & see the Eclipse. This was one of the last hotels available for the weekend - so we were thankful to snag it last minute! The check-in process was simple & quick. We also received juice & water when we checked in. We enjoyed the close proximity to a bus stop to go downtown. The hotel was also right off the highway, which made things easy. It's located near really good restaurants as well - which we enjoyed eating at. Thanks for a great stay!
Disliked: Hotel did offer coffee in the lobby - but I wish we had our own coffee maker (like the pictures suggest). The bed was comfy to us, but please note - it was not firm (if you need it to be). Noise level was moderate, but we brought our earplugs - so we were set! They also give you only 2 pillows, so I suggest you bring your own pillows if you need more to sleep with (like we did). It would also be nice to be given 2 room keys instead of just 1 (in case you lose the other one). Other than that, we highly suggest staying here for a quick weekend trip.
