Liked: Steph is wonderful and the other 2 hotel clerks are nice and try to be helpful. The cleaning/maintenance staff are friendly and do their best seemingly. Being able to cook and the cookware and plates and utensils etc being available helps with the budget a lot. The beds are decent and clean and the bathroom was clean.
Disliked: Lots of things have fallen thru the cracks maintenance/cleaning wise. We've stayed here before and maybe we got a bad room this time, but it smelled of dog pee throughout and even cleaning didn't take it away completely. Several repairs had to be made to the room just to be able to stay in it and severall more to go that weren't as urgent. Also, our door didn't seal so the out door smokers/marijuana smokers... well, sometimes the stuff would get into our room and make us sick. The place needs cameras to enforce the no marijuana posting and no smoking within 25ft of the building. And it definitely needs repairs and deep cleaning. I know that the place is inexpensive compared to most, but that doesn't mean it can't be clean and in good repair.
