Studio 6 Flagstaff AZ

I purchased a room at Howard Johnsons, in Flagstaff AZ and left about 4 a.m. yesterday because my boyfriend started being bitten by bed bugs. We reported it to the front desk and the guy didn't seem to care - he just wanted to point out that they were sold out last night and haven't had any other complaints. I had to call them a few hours later, because I was trying to get a refund, and the lady that answered said no report had been made to her so the front desk male hadn't even reported it yet. I contacted corporate - I am waiting to hear back, and I have also contacted the BBB who I have heard from - they are awaiting a reply at this time and it could take up to 30 days for any word back.

Liked: Was Clean and like that had a small kitchen it and bed were very good and least comfortable
Disliked: The did have slite smoke smell and ac didn't work to well

Not the worst but not...

Liked: The room was nice. I think I may have accidentally booked an extended stay room so it had nice wood floors and a little stove top. Very nice. The beds were comfortable and the A/C and heating unit worked amazingly.
Disliked: One of the beds was dirty. We pulled the sheets off the bed after we left so they’d get cleaned but it made us feel uneasy seeing sheets that weren’t that clean. The weird check in guy was just someone on a screen so it made the process feel less inviting. I stayed here about a week ago and only had to pay a 1$ deposit but this time I had to pay a 50$ deposit. I sincerely hope I get that back. I don’t know if I’m going crazy but I could swear I have bug bites on my legs after staying there but I don’t want to pin the blame on them solely. I think it may just end up being who you speak with and what room you stay in that dictates how nice your experience is

Liked: Great location, easy access to the highway.
Disliked: We stayed in room 200 and the carpet was dirty and stained. The furniture was also stained and dirty. No housekeeping we stayed for 4 nights and the room was never cleaned.

Liked: The person at the front desk when we checked in was rude and seemed annoyed because I asked a couple of questions. One of the beds had a footprint on it, the bathroom wall had yellow stains running down the wall (I don't even want to imagine what it might be), and the floors weren't clean. I had called in to see if they had a jacuzzi they don't and was yold that that is what the tub in my room was for and I feel that at that time they could have mentioned that the pool was closed but didn't. Overall, I was disappointed and unless I absolutely had to, I wouldn't book here again. The room had a refrigerator and the door was on backward, making it difficult to access.
Disliked: Please see above. I inadvertently got these backward. Pricing was the only good thing.
