Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing

Liked: Nice location
Disliked: Room was in bad repair, holes in walls, wardrobe falling apart, stains on carpet & no air conditioning which was advertised on booking.com. All windows left open before arrival so bugs everywhere. When I initially couldn't get into the building I couldn't get hold of anyone to help me. Access instructions were also incorrect. Shower was very small & not great. Towels provided were OK for a small child, not an adult.

Good

Liked: Very helpful staff. Good location.
Disliked: Mattress was very uncomfortable. Every spring could be felt and it was very squeaky eery time I turned over. Room was incredibly hot despite the portable fan that was in the room.

Cheap but not very cheerful.

Liked: Location convenient for town centre. The key and lock system worked.
Disliked: Mattress was appalling. Shower was poor. The floor edges were dusty. I tried to send an email about these issues to the management of this property rather than leave a negative review but I could not find an address.

David Mon, 23 June 2025

Good

Liked: Staff were very friendly although hardly seen. The property itself doesn't have great parking as it seems its shared with 2 other businesses. Inside the room its quite compact but had everything we needed for our short stay. It was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Parking.
