Overall, if I return, I...

Liked: The staff replaced a chair that was broken and did so very quickly. It was also an excellent location because we could easily walk to the town center.
Disliked: The duvet style wrap of the sheets kept coming off during sleep. Duvet covers with buttons might work better.

Mixed emotions

Liked: The location is outstanding. I used to stay here when two of my children attended SOU. It became cost prohibitive for our frequency of stays, so I switched to Holiday Inn Express and Best Western( not as well located though).I decided to try Stratford again. It is the perfect location for seeing the plays, eating downtown or hiking in Lithia Park. The staff is courteous and the rooms are clean.
Disliked: I requested a street side room ( did not want to overlook parking area ). It was acknowledged by the staff as confirmed same day as I booked the room.Upon arrival, I was given a room that overlooked the parking lot. I went to front desk, they located my request and the confirmation but said it was changed in their system. Several alternatives were explored, but they ultimately said they could not do anything about it. I was offered a discount. Upon checkout they took $15.00 ( fifteen dollars) off one day.

Liked: comfy stay, nice pool area, walkable to restaurants downtown, great breakfast. Young man at the front desk was so very warm and welcoming and helped us find a great place to eat.
Disliked: On a noisy road so bring earplugs

Ashland Weekend

Liked: Large, clean room with a window. Easy to find with adequate parking.
Disliked: Shower drained very slowly. The room would have been more comfortable with a loveseat or two armchairs instead of the dining-type chairs in the room.

Liked: They have a heated indoor pool! The breakfast area is lovely to hang out and visit.

Great staff and lovely location!

Liked: All of the staff are wonderful. Especially helpful was Elijah at the front desk and MJ in the kitchen. The breakfast was really good with a nice view and plenty of space. My room had a lovely view of the mountains and was very quiet. The bonus was getting up early Sunday morning and taking a short walk to a graveyard where a family of 9 deer was resting!
