The Strandhotel is a small family hotel directly facing the beach. The cozy dining room with sea view is a wonderful way to start your day with a nice breakfast. Originally being a large villa the hotel has preserved its attractive Victorian style entrance with fireplace. The antique sitting room is a charming place to read or relax after a long walk or a cycle trip. The Strandhotel offers comfortable and quiet rooms some with a beautiful sea view. All of the rooms have their own private bathroom. The ideal location of this hotel makes it possible to walk to all famous sights in Scheveningen the Circus Theater is 984 feet away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Great Location. Grand beautifully decorated...

Liked: Lovely staff. Beautifully decorated. Large room. Good breakfast. Great location.
Disliked: Room was a bit hot & windows don’t open. Fan would have been nice.

Liked: Everything was perfect! A small lovely hotel right on the beach. Great staff, very nice and helpfull. We had a familly room witch was great, very big. Good breakfast...

Great value

Liked: Great location and also the hotel offers coffee tea cookies all included in the same price. Has a great view of the sea from the sitting room.
Disliked: A really small bathroom, the room was located at the main floor facing a small garden where people could enter and relax, not the best.

Very good amazing but make...

Liked: Walks on the beach in the early mornings and walking to the lobby for free coffee and for the kids hot cocoa there’s also free popsicles there and biscuits also the breakfast was buss
Disliked: People outside looked through the windows and looked at me while I was changing.

Exceptional

Liked: This is an amazing place. A hotel that immerses you in an atmosphere of elite rest. The interior is chosen with impeccable taste. The staff is impeccable. The breakfasts are delicious. The sea is a few steps away. And all this for a very affordable price.
Disliked: The fact that the vacation is so short

Disappointing

Liked: The location is beautiful! Very nice direct view on the beach... the weather was fantastic which helped. Breakfast with a view was enjoyable.
Disliked: Very old, outdated hotel, microscopic single room located on top of steep stairs, extremely expensive for its value (almost paid 150 eur per night for a room which was probably not more than 6 to 8 m2 and a very small bathroom)... very bad ! I would not recommend ! You have a series of hotel around which are modern... I wanted to try this one as the pictures at least looked good... that was a mistake !
