Disliked: The excellent location turns this underwhelming hotel into a tourist trap. Our room was extremely small. The double bed, or an attempt at one, was squeezed up against a wall. The room was extremely cramped. We could not move about in the room when we opened our bags. The breakfast was the final shocker. My wife’s hash browns were frozen, literally. (We actually could not believe that a 4 star hotel would serve up frozen food in this manner!). The eggs and mushrooms were draped in oil or fat. The breakfast was bad totally overpriced. This hotel, from our perspective, does not deserve the 4 star rating it apparently has.

Disliked: The room was small. It is a cosy room so I understand the room will be smaller but it is very tight with two people in it

Liked: Staff went above and beyond, My partner and I stayed for our 1 year anniversary and they put a lovely balloon prosecco chocolates and card for us. Special touch making the stay even better!

Disliked: The shower wasn't working properly. We managed to hold it together for the one night. If we were staying longer, we probably would have escalated the issue.
