Far better than expectations

Liked: Older style Motel in good location on The Strand close to lots of places to eat as well as Coles & other shops.Ladies who run it were welcoming & helpful. Room was well equipped with small kitchenette & was very clean. It was OK for the one night we stayed there. Beds & linen were very comfy.

Liked: The location was the best
Disliked: The lady manager was very very rude. I believe she was racist. When we asked for a blanket, she argued with me about it. She also complained about us using the aircon in our room. Saying that the air cons is not for us just because we are hot. She complained about how much electricity it runs. She was a very confusing woman. She left my room, only to come back to me and ask if i wanted a refund. I said, No thanks, I don't have anywhere to go and plus I have a child with me. I would not recommend staying there ever again. No respect for customers. She should not work there. Ahe is killing the hotel's reputation.There was no wifi, i believed she turned it off in our room. No room clean. Very unwelcoming.

OK good position on the esplanade. Comfortable rooms

Disliked: Our room was a little small and unfortunately just next to the restaurant.Our car had only a little space and ability to sit outside was defined by the back door to the restaurant. Apart from that our stay was pleasant and relaxed
