Fantastic cozy stay for a...

Liked: Cozy little spot for a quick weekend ski trip. The office offers coffee, cookies, hot chocolate, DVDs, games, snow shoeing. I wish we could've taken advantage of all of these things, but we were mostly here for skiing. Warm rooms, despite very cold Vermont temps. The shuttle that takes you to the Stowe resort stops across the street.
Disliked: Not much to complain about. Maybe only if you're looking for a modern place with luxury amenities, this is probably not it.

Not the fanciest but impeccably...

Liked: Great location on the Mountain Road across from a bus stop. Halfway between the Stowe resort and Stowe the village. My unit had a kitchenette -- really just one cooktop and a microwave, but that was enough to save a lot of money on meals and much more convenient. Also: It's across the street from Burt's Irish Pub. Highly recommended. It's locals oriented but I didn't feel unwelcome.
Disliked: The place is a little dated in decor and style but not in a worn-out way. It's very well maintained. The thermostat actually worked but it did take a while to warm up when I came back in from a day out. Not a major problem, though.
