Stourport Manor Hotel

A night we would like...

Liked: Nice setting and gardens
Disliked: Bedroom and bathroom very dated. When you opened the wardrobe door the whole thing wobbled. One bedside light not working. Awful view - flat roof outside window covered in cables and wires. Never did manage to work out how to get hot water through the shower. Arrived in a heatwave 86F only to find that the bedroom window was secured and could only be opened about six inches. Heat in the room was practically unbearable in the night.

Very disappointed.

Liked: Adequate.
Disliked: Our evening meal was poor. The batter on the fish was soft and the 5 chips were greasy and inadequate. Very poor quality.

Disliked: Breakfast, buffet self service, bland food, horrible juice from a machine, coffee machine wasn't working properly

Lovely room but awful staff

Liked: The swimming pool was lovely kids really enjoyed
Disliked: A member of staff was extremely rude made me very uncomfortable I have never stayed in a hotel with such rude staff This is my second stay, the first time was a few years ago and the hotel has definitely gone down hill I will not return to this hotel

Disappointed

Liked: Free parking.
Disliked: Receptionist not available on reception had to wait 15 minutes for him to arrive. Rooms were uncomfortably hot, no air conditioning, only a tiny fan which was useless circulating warm air. Couldn’t open windows due to lock system in place. We ended up leaving extra early as it was unbearable. Pillows were lumpy and not comfy at all. I have stayed in this hotel quite a few years ago and it is disappointing how it has not been maintained and seems rather grubby and old-fashioned.
