Rundown and tired hotel.

Liked: Convenient location to stay.
Disliked: Very dirty and unkept compound: litter, broken furniture. Rundown buildings and rooms that need to be updated. Breakfast was average.

Need more then one member...

Liked: The one and only member of staff tried so so hard and he was great. Clean and comfy bed.
Disliked: No staff! Poor person running the front desk, answering all calls trying to run the bar . Need more staff we would have eaten there but staff disappeared! Felt a bit like an old people's home really needs doing up.

Liked: room was nice but shower tabe was not functional
Disliked: short staff, we waited for more than 20 min at reception to check in.

Perfect for 1 night/ a...

Liked: Location was excellent, nice views and good outdoor facilities
Disliked: Room was too stuffy with no air conditioning, had to go and ask for towels, no hairdryer as stated by the website, no plug by bedside, shower barely worked and struggled to heat up. Food was okay for the price but maybe a tiny of a bigger portion size!

Liked: falsely advertised as far better than it was. it was like faulty towers at the bar. extra costs making it not value for money. poor buffet. terrible customer service.
Disliked: unorganised and bar service was awful. missold.

Stourport Manor Hotel

Liked: Free bottle of wine given for the inconvenience, although we were overcharged on the bill for a round of drinks we didn't order. However, this was refunded but had to ask for copy of receipt as sounded expensive.
Disliked: We booked the restaurant for 6pm. Food arrived at 8.30pm. Booked from 2 course set menu but apparently you have to pre-book to get "special price", we weren't advised this when ordering, when queried with manager we were told that staff shouldn't of given out "that menu" but it's printed in the main menu which is also in the hotel room so I'm not sure waitresses can be blamed! Staff looked depleted and defeated. Also, be aware it's advertised with swimming pool - this is charged extra (£5 adult & £3 child) and needs to be booked. At breakfast lots of tables were reading reviews. Top tip - book somewhere else!
