Very pleasant

Liked: Well furnished big room, lift which is great for taking luggage up to room, many old buildings we stayed in we had to carry bags up many sets of stairs. Easy car parking
Disliked: Unfortunately the shower did not drain and water spilled onto bathroom floor, this was attended to only on our last day

Brilliant

Liked: Last time came this hotel in 2016. It’s massive changed everything inside of hotel, bedroom and bathroom is lots modern as before. Nice evening meal and breakfast too
Disliked: No blanket out as lights outside all night as bother my sleep.

Liked: Staff were all excellent. Lovely and very accommodating. Food was good. Location wise it’s great, particularly if you’ve had a long journey to get up to the lakes.

Liked: The renovations have left the hotel looking very modern and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice too.
Disliked: The menu is very limited in the restaurant.
