Liked: we had a lovely stay, the room was very comfortable.always with friendly staff, chatty and informative.all our food was beautiful and beautifully presented.
Disliked: we would have been for a swim but looking forward to see the new spa area when it is completed.

Disliked: No lift and no space in bathroom to put toiletries.

A bit disappointed

Liked: Great location as a base to explore The Lakes. The staff were really friendly. Great breakfast provided
Disliked: The standard double room was really small. Very warm and not much ventilation. We weren't informed that the lift was out of order before arrival although we knew the pool facilities were closed due to building work.Small detail but the constant background music in reception/restaurant was replayed over and over , change it to something lively! Very annoying.

Disappointed at lack of communication

Liked: The staff were polite and tried to make the best of the facilities that were open.
Disliked: We booked this a year ago hoping to have a relaxing break and to use the spa facilities. We found out before we went (although not informed) that there was building work going on so the spa was out of use but it was planned to reopen in May - perfect, we thought. Checked a couple of days before and the spa opening has been further delayed.
