The Stone House Hotel is a classic Edwardian country house built in 1908 set in a stunning secluded spot in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near the town of Hawes. It has been family-run for over 40 years. Many rooms at Stone House have views of the beautiful gardens that surround the hotel and have Smart TVs tea and coffee-making facilities among other amenities. With original oak paneling in the main lounge and real log fires throughout the picturesque Stone House Hotel is the perfect home away from home there is also a bar serving local ales spirits and a range of wines by the glass which can also be enjoyed in the library/billiard room or the garden. Free WiFi is available throughout this hotel as well as free private parking and a duel electric charging point for guests use only. Stone House offers award-winning breakfast options light lunches afternoon tea's and a luxurious dinner menu that changes on a daily basis. Fantastic stay at The Stone...

Liked: All the staff were so friendly. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is beautiful and the views over Wensleydale were gorgeous. The food is 5 star .
Disliked: Quite a few dogs were guests which we didn't mind but some people might!

A lovely hotel in a...

Liked: The rooms are not cheap compared to other local hotels, but you are getting a lot extra to make the stay both comfortable and memorable. The staff were excellint and friendly. The docor of the hotel is lovely. A lot of effort has gone into the ambience and layout. The food, both breakfast and dinner were very nice. A good choice.
Disliked: There was nothing I did not like

Lovely hotel for a short...

Liked: We have stayed at the Stone House many times. It’s a lovely traditional hotel with beautiful views over Wensleydale. The dinner menu changes daily - really good food and fabulous staff.
Disliked: Nothing.
