Liked: Stone House Farm was a unique place, full of character and history. My room, though small, was adequate and had all the facilities I needed, including toiletries, socket for phone charging by the bed, good lighting, comfortable bed. Parking at the rear of the accommodation was great. The breakfast was lovely. The hosts were great, and provided local information.

Liked: A really lovely single occupancy room in a beautiful vintage guest house. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The bathroom looked brand new and the shower was wonderful with loads of pressure and very roomy. My hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and offered great advice with places to eat and local attractions. St Bees itself is a charming village and a 10 minute walk from the guest house puts you on a very picturesque beach flanked by coastline walks, which offer incredible views. Breakfast was superb, with generous portions and everything I could have hoped for.The room represents fantastic value for money, especially when factoring in the standard of the room itself, and how comfortable the bed was (which was wider than a standard single bed - somewhere between a single and double). One of the best single-occupancy rooms I've stayed in, both in terms of the bed and the size of the room.
Disliked: There's nothing negative I can say - everything was top-notch and the only disappointment was having to leave in the morning! I should have stayed another night!

Liked: Friendly and warming owners, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and the products home make Jams, and marmalade. Hot breakfast was spot on , nothing was too much trouble. Certainly would use again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
