Wouldn’t stay there again until...

Liked: Very pretty old building in stunning gardens. A better part of Slough
Disliked: Our allocated room was above the dining room. Outside eating included cigarette/ vape smokers fumes entering our room. The rooms were too hot reason we had the window open slightly. Large shower head unusable due to blockage. Small unit too low

Pleasant surroundings and attentive staff

Liked: The grounds are excellent and the hotel has a special feel to it
Disliked: Hard to reach upper floor with guests that have mobility problems as there is no lift

Tired but clean.

Liked: Lovely location and beutiful building. Easy check in and check out and staff were great.
Disliked: We had a gatehouse room. It is quite cold despite air con and hence we used the bar heaters left in the room. The bathroom floor is freezing and this was mid April and a nice day. So don't stay here in winter. The room is a bit damp and needs starting from scratch Having said that it was clean and had everything you need. For the price it was good. Enjoyably stay and will ne back for a more contemporary room if they have.
