Fabulous weekend

Liked: We had a perfect stay at Stoke House. Nicki and Robert were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The friendly ambience continued throughout our stay. Spacious, clean well-equipped rooms with lounge area. TVs in both the lounge and bedroom. Comfortable bed and clean towels each day. Tea making was provided in the room with so many choices of teas and coffee. Kettle with water filter. Fresh milk in the fridge, bottled water and biscuits were provided. Speedy WiFi. Great wet room with shower. Breakfast was fabulous, with various choices of cereals, fruit, juice and yoghurts as well as a full English breakfast. Choices of brown or white bread too. Breakfast set us up for the day, so well cooked and presented. Nicki and Robert were keen to help out with local information and had a wealth of local knowledge. We had an amazing stay and will return!

Liked: Our hosts, Robert and Nicki, met us at the door on arrival and instantly made us welcome. Nicki promptly gave us the info about getting in and out and times for breakfast etc, then accompanied us to our room to explain the facilities and make sure we had everything we needed. We were given a big flask of fresh milk so that we could make a much needed cuppa after our long journey and this was replenished daily. Breakfast was wonderful, full English, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, tea, coffee.. cooked breakfast was made to order by chef Rob.. and what a breakfast it was! Perfectly delicious! With Nicki on hand to make sure each guest was happy.. nothing seemed too much trouble. We enjoyed meeting the family dog, too and by the time our 3 night stay was over, we felt more like friends than guests and left feeling full and happy, with laughter and big smiles on our faces.

A great spot for a...

Liked: The breakfast was amazing. Very generous portions that set you up for the day. No lunch needed. Local maps and advice provided can recommend Woody way and Valley of the rocks. Wild sea swimming was a bit nippy. Everything catered for- Wi-Fi, shampoo and seperate conditioner a rarity these days. Complete towel change daily unbelievable customer service for a b and b.
