Stirk House Hotel & Restaurant overlooks the historic Ribble Valley in the heart of rural Lancashire. Seasons Restaurant at Stirk House features menus inspired by the remarkable Lancashire landscape with ingredients sourced from local artisan producers or foraged from our own 22 acres of grounds. It is a 16th-century manor house surrounded by picturesque views of Pendle Hill the Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales. The building still retains a magnificent stone-arched fireplace original ceilings and a priest hole. All of the 33 bedrooms at Stirk House reflect a commitment to comfort and combine character style and luxury. Visitors can expect rooms equipped with all the customary modern conveniences with the addition of tea and coffee-making facilities. Golf fishing and hot air ballooning are all available in the Ribble Valley. The 12th-century Clitheroe Castle is 15 minutes' drive from the hotel and the Yorkshire Dales can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Staff were exceptional made us...

Liked: Really nice location. Beautiful house and facilities. The suite was spacious nice and clean. Views were amazing.
Disliked: Our suite didnt have double glazing but staff said this was being done very soon.

Liked: From entering the property to leaving, we had the best time! The staff were amazing and the bedroom was stunning. We added the romance package and this definitely added romance to the room. Can I just say the best thing about our stay was 100% the bath :)
Disliked: Everything was perfect!

Pleasant stay

Liked: The breakfast was very good for a full English but not much choice for a continental etc cheeses or hams! The location was fine, with lovely walks from the hotel.
Disliked: Smalls cups and glasses in the room. And the bathroom had no shelf space for toiletries toothbrush’s etc. other than that it was a pleasant room.

Brilliant for weddings!

Liked: we have stayed there before a few times. The rooms are comfortable a quiet, the food excellent. That's why we go back.

Lovely hotel which we would...

Liked: Lovely room, wonderful view, lovely character of the building, excellent dinner, good breakfast, excellent coffee, nice fire in the lounge, friendly welcoming staff
Disliked: I couldn't find a hair dryer in the room.The delivery of heating oil had been delayed and the rooms were not as warm as expected. But we were forewarned and electric heaters were provided and dinner voucher offered in lieu.
