Liked: reception staff were great. We arrived early but could still check in. They had a problem with our booking but dealt with it promptly and with skill and friendliness. They gave us some tea while sorting it out. Food was really good. A very well cooked steak and pasta dish .Prices were reasonable. The location for Tilbury ferry was perfect
Disliked: very minor, the range of beer could be better.

Disappointing

Liked: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The bar food was very good .
Disliked: Every night of our stay, there was a wedding taking place. Which meant we wasn't able to eat in the dining room/restaurant or sit on the terrace, as these facilities were taken up by the wedding reception.The adjoining room occupants were very noisy.One man had finished night shift somewhere at 4am and had his tv on loud in the early hours.The adjoining room was occupied by a woman and two small children, again the tv came on in the very early hours.
