STF Långholmen Hostel

Superb and great price!

Liked: Spotlessly clean. Great staff. Brilliant conversion of space, quirky to stay in a prison. Well equipped shared kitchen. You don’t hear noise in your room as very thick walls….apart from the birds in the morning if you open the windows.
Disliked: Nothing it was all great! If I’m pushed then one of the beds wasn’t as comfortable as the other beds but this is only because we asked for an extra bed rather than one of the party having to sleep up high, so it was more of a pop up bed so not unexpected! My bed was very comfortable!

Liked: The experience and the atmosphere was great. Staff was very kind and helpful. I had a restful and refreshing time especially in the mornings, get a take away coffee from the reception and walk by the river

Excellent place if you want...

Liked: Location, breakfast. Hostel is museum itself - very stylish. In summer month you can swim in nearby beach or do some cayaking

Liked: Very interesting history here. Staff is very pleasant and maintains the property well. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with many options. Långholmen Island has numerous trails, and there are beautiful community gardens on the western side.
Disliked: Everything was perfect!

Liked: Friendly staff, clean rooms, fine beds and unique atmosphere.

Old prison in Stockholm

Liked: Very clean, iconic old prison converted into a hotel. Great staff.
Disliked: A very long way from the room to the kitchen especially when the 1st floor door was locked against us. It was a long walk to Stockholm city centre
