All said, this is a...
Liked: Quiet. Log cabin was spotless. Most everything you need for your stay. Beautiful location. Husband liked the pond for fishing which was literally just a short walk from our cabin.
Disliked: The pool was not heated despite the staff saying it was 80 degrees. It was at most 70. Even other guests said the same. Never saw anyone in it in it except one kid. I went in briefly- it was freezing - no warm water even coming out of the spouts. Big disappointment for me as it was one of several factors in choosing this resort- so I could swim due to my bad back. And I know heated pools as I have two timeshares in northern Vermont and New Hampshire with outdoor heated pools. Why they would say it was heated to 80 degrees when it clearly wasn’t is beyond me. One guest said suddenly the pool thermometer disappeared. The only other thing- and this is true at most resorts- the furniture in our cabin was not comfortable. The king bed was nice and big, but I’ve slept on much nicer mattresses at resorts. Was hard for me as I have a bad back.

Peaceful, comfortable no-BS cabin that...
Liked: We had an enjoyable stay for a ski trip to Smuggler's Notch. This is not a luxury resort, but it is definitely in the sweet spot for comfort, cleanliness and location. The cabin was comfortable with a wood stove and well-equipped kitchen. We were in a one bedroom which included a full size fold-out sofa bed. It was definitely feasible for a short stay with two adults and two kids. I do not know if they had availability for the two bedroom on our dates, but that might be worth considering if you have more people in your group. The resort staff were friendly and responsive when needed, but left us in peace the rest of the time, which is how I like it. The resort has extra towels and other essentials available at the front office as well as snacks, extra firewood and other items for purchase. The resort is located in a quiet area between the town of Jeffersonville and the Smuggler's Notch ski resort. It's a little tricky to navigate at night, but Waze got us there after a couple of missed turns. It was a short drive to the ski area in the morning and a short drive down 108 to Jeffersonville for food and other supplies. The location was peaceful and ideal for families. The resort has hikes set up and provides snowshoes for rent, but we didn't have time to explore this.
Disliked: The only possible downside to note is that there are no dining options on site or within walking distance. You will need a car to get to the resort and to get around. You will also probably want to cook some of your dinners, which possible thanks to the kitchen in your cabin. Booking.com has an issue where scammers are able to spoof messages from the resort using the booking.com messaging system asking users to re-input credit card details in a suspicious website. Unfortunately, I did receive a few of these messages prior to my stay, but it was fairly easy to identify the scam. This is a known issue with booking.com (not just this property, search reddit for numerous examples). Please be aware of this and ignore messages asking for credit card details if you receive them. This is not a particularly well executed scam, but I can see how someone could fall for it given that messages are delivered through a booking.com channel.

The whole experience was excellent...
Liked: The cabin was beautiful, extremely comfortable for my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers ages 15,16,17), and had a fully equipped kitchen. The staff was extremely amenable and friendly. The location was excellent, near Smugglers Notch for skiing.
