A warm welcome awaits
Liked: Sharon and Paul are wonderful hosts. I had a delightful stay in a stone outbuilding with a lovely little cottage garden outside my window. There is also another large cottage garden with tables and chairs for guests to enjoy.I was a little concerned about road noise but it was perfectly quiet as the rooms are at the back of the 16th century farmhouse. Breakfast was one of the best I had while travelling in the UK for 6 weeks. Thanks for such a relaxing experience

Liked: Sharon and Paul were wonderful hosts, couldn’t do enough! The accommodation and garden was amazing. We loved the outdoor honesty bar. Fabulous breakfast, local produce. Highly Recommend.

Liked: Friendly reception. Convenient location. Self contained ground floor room with own access so easy to come and go as we pleased. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.
Disliked: No improvements needed.

Liked: The perfect stop over for two blokes on motorbikes touring the area. Breakfast was fantastic and the perfect start to the day. Would strongly recommend and will return.

A warm, wonderful stay that...
Liked: Sharon & Paul gave us the warmest welcome I think I've ever received! Their farmhouse is a gem and was perfectly situated at the end of our long day of cycling the GB Divide route. Paul very kindly let us wash our bikes down and store them securely. After a good night's sleep we wandered down to a beautifully presented and very tasty breakfast courtesy of Sharon. I don't often take time to leave reviews, but it felt like a LOT of love has gone into Steps Farmhouse and that's worth calling out! Thank you both :-)
