Steigenberger Hotel München, Munich

Good

Liked: The TV in the room was not working. I called reception at first no answer and after the third call someone answered and I wanted to request for someone to fix the TV and I was told nobody was available. Other than the TV in the room not working I have to say it was a very nice room, spacious, great bathroom, the gym was also really nice. Breakfast was a delight although the attendant at the entrance was quite unfriendly.
Disliked: The TV in the room was not working. There was no compensation, nothing was offered :(

Did not meet expectations.

Disliked: - Staff didn't speak fluent German nor English- Room was booked for three, but beverages (coffee, water etc.) incl. cups, glasses, bath rope were stocked for two- Room was not properly cleaned after the first night (trash bin, plates etc.) (stayed two nights).- No proper room service (We ordered and had to pick up our order at the restaurant ourselves)- Considering the room charges, it was not worth it.

Very dissapointing

Liked: Simple basic hotel
Disliked: Despite requested well in advance and at reception hypoallergenic bedding (i.e. no feathers), it was full of it, then replaced with even more then finally changed. TV not working, kettle not working, 34 Euros for average breakfast..

Excelent comfortable

Liked: Everything. Excellant comfortable room nice quality food spce to work

Nice hotel in a quiet...

Liked: Comfortable room (quiet, clean, perfect temperature, nice bed, etc.), friendly staff, nice wellness area.
Disliked: Breakfast was quite pricey, so just ate outside instead. The wellness area could open earlier than 17:00.

Liked: Location is the best in Munich , the staff in coffee/Bar were very friendly .
Disliked: i only had problem with room lighting system of toilet , when you use the toilet light it disturb the other person who is sleeping , i don't understand the reason behind this design . breakfast is expensive .
